I'm a qualified Pastoral Supervisor with 20+ years of ministry experience

and I'm passionate about helping others thrive in their ministry practice.

For the first 15 years of my ministry life, I had no idea how valuable Pastoral Supervision could be. I battled on through various ministry challenges and burnout. As I reflected on these experiences, I'm thankful for the self-awareness and self-insights that helped me to survive and even flourish in ministry.

In 2017 I had the opportunity to help develop a new subject at Moore Theological College, Sydney called "Intentional Ministry Reflection". I wrote the textbook which was a wonderful opportunity to develop a framework that others could use to reflect well on their ministry experiences. I also did Group Supervision of students as part of this experience.

An opportunity to develop further in this space came in 2021 with undertaking a Certificate in Pastoral Supervision (St Mark's Theological College, Canberra). Supervision is all about providing a safe and brave space for ministry workers to reflect on their ministry practice in order to grow in wisdom, faithfulness and resilience. This is for their own sake, as well as the sake of those they serve. As part of the course I benefited enormously from being supervised myself.

I am passionate about helping other ministry workers and believe Pastoral Supervision can help us thrive in ministry.

"I have found that Caroline as a supervisor has facilitated my reflective thinking and promoted pastoral and leadership skill development. She does this through using her wealth of knowledge and experience, and strengthened by self directed and goal orientated approaches. I believe she would be a helpful pastoral supervisor for ministry workers from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, because she is able to tailor her approach to meet their needs."
